We're just over two months away from the launch of Final Fantasy XVI, and Square Enix seems hellbent on drowning us in information. At the end of tonight's State of Play broadcast, producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed that the 25-minute presentation was far from the last you'll see of the action RPG before its June release.
"There's still plenty that we have left to reveal," says Yoshida. "Battle content, side content, endgame content, and more" will apparently be shown in near future.
It's honestly been quite some time since we saw a publisher go this hard on info drops in such a short period of time. Ahead of this State of Play, we were starting to worry that we've actually seen too much of Final Fantasy XVI, and now, over the next two months or so, we're going to be shown even more.
Do you feel like you've seen enough? Are you hyped to see more? Don't you dare drop Clive's combo in the comments section below.

“Endgame content”
Does that mean like a season pass or dlc b/c FFXV was a garbage rollout and I’ll wait for the Royale Edition on PS6 if need be. 😝
@rjejr No, endgame refers to either content in the second half or post game. This is probably going to cover Final Fantasy mode and some end game hunts.
This shows how confident Square-Enix and Sony are about the game. I'll see nothing more because I was never so hyped for a game since Elden Ring.
@rjejr Yeah, like KaijuKaiser said, endgame content usually means extra stuff you can do after completing the main story, like repeatable missions designed for high-level characters.
As of right now, no DLC is announced for FFVXI yet. The Deluxe Edition doesn’t include a Season Pass like XV did at launch. Doesn’t mean they won’t make DLC, as the Yuffie content added to FFVII Remake proves, but I doubt it’ll be the amount of stuff they kept releasing for XV.
That being said, I’m probably gonna wait for a price drop anyway, so that’ll give me enough time to see if they put out any DLC or other updates.
Loved Forsaken and this is already preordered back when it had like 89 days to go countdown. 😄
I rarely pre-order, certainly not months in advance. I had faith in this one.
Of course, I have the money to burn, so I can be reckless.
This announcement very much has a Nintendo's promotion of Smash Ultimate feel to it. Like the Playstation Showcase everyone's been waiting for ends up happening but the entire 2nd half of it is going extremely in depth with FFXVI.
